Due to problems with cholesterol, Franco Müller had already been undergoing treatment by a specialist for some time. Unfortunately, the patient's health deteriorated visibly by winter 2019, so the attending physician considered surgical treatment unavoidable. Mr. Müller was therefore referred to Prof. Dr. med. Alberto Weber examined the case in detail. He concurred with the colleague's opinion and felt that cardiac surgery was also necessary.
The six-hour operation took place at the beginning of June 2020 in the HerzZentrum Hirslanden in Zurich and proceeded without complications. A few days of observation followed, during which Mr. Müller was comprehensively supervised by Prof. Dr. med. Alberto Weber and the team of the Heart Center. After just two days, the patient was able to move around a little again and take short walks in the corridors of the Zurich clinic. The discharge was prompt, but because the surgery was extensive, the patient had to focus on his rehab in the coming weeks to fully recover.
Today, Franco Müller is in good health again. He raves about the loving care at the Hirslanden Heart Center in Zurich. In particular, the detailed explanation of the underlying disease and the detailed information about the form of the surgery helped him face the operation without worries. Franco Müller therefore unconditionally recommends treatment with the Zurich heart specialists.
