In 2020, Patricia Heiniger, a healthy woman, suddenly felt unwell while surfing. She fell off the surfboard and could not get back on. Even at home, her condition did not improve. Finally, due to the ongoing corona pandemic, she went to the hospital to perform a corona test. A routine checkup revealed that Ms. Heiniger was suffering from previously undetected heart problems that required surgery.

The operation took place a short time later, in September and was performed without complications. A two-week stay for monitoring followed, which also went smoothly. Today Patricia Heiniger is well again and can devote herself to surfing free of complaints.
